About the Mid-Year Assembly
The Vincent E. Best Mid-Year Assembly has been a featured event of the MWPHGL of New York since 1972 when it was introduced by Most Worshipful Grand Master, Vincent E. Best who served from 1971 – 1973.
The original purpose was to refresh from labor, at which time the Grand Master would deliver his Mid-Year address, and for enjoyment a Grand Master's Ball was held.
Over the years it has expanded, and added more activities such as training workshops, health screening, and census education seminars, etc. It gave an opportunity to meet, greet and celebrate the newly elect Worshipful Masters and Worthy Matrons from around the state. New members to the organization were introduced to the fanfare of the evening, and life-long fraternal relationships were made.
Overtime, Mid-Year became popular with friends and families and is now one of our most anticipated events of the year!

What's included
Assembly registration covers Saturday sessions. The Grand Master's Ball is ticketed separately for every attendee.
What to bring
Your registration receipt, credentials, and attire that matches the dress code for each event. Worshipful Masters and Worthy Matrons, your attire for Pictures and the Grand Master's Ball include your Worshipful Master Collar and your Worthy Matron Sash.
